I had parents who let me believe the world was full of hidden wonders and that adventures could be anywhere at any time.

As a kid, my dad snuck me into James Bond movies. Together we fell in love with impossible missions, ingenious gadgets, exotic locations, and eccentric villains. Those adventures made the world feel bigger—and made becoming the hero seem possible.

Well…almost anything was possible.

Seeing someone like me at the center of the action, adventure, and romance…that was still just a dream.

So, I decided to write those stories.

Today, I write the kinds of stories I spent my childhood searching for—hopeful, high-concept romantic adventures where ordinary people discover they’re worthy of extraordinary love.

Whether it’s…

• a scientist and a spy trying to save the world…

• an art forger and a broken spy discovering that the greatest masterpiece is the person standing beside him…

• a man trying to build the perfect boyfriend…

• or a terrified rookie teacher facing a classroom full of future supervillains…

  …every story begins with the same belief:

  The right people change us.

Three things guide every story I write:

• Wonder reminds us the world is bigger than we imagined.

• Humor helps us understand people more deeply.

• Love changes us for the better.

Because that’s the world I always hoped for.

My hope is simple.

When you finish one of my books, I hope you leave believing the world is more hopeful than you feared, more joyful than you remembered, and more full of wonder than you expected.

Beyond the Books

Started As - Screenwriter novelist.

Loves - Travel, museums, discovering the stories hidden in history, finding something to dance to, and chasing the next great adventure…and snacks.

Writing Partner - My rescued terrier mix, Cooper (half Terrier/half Dachshund), who listens carefully as I read every finished chapter in my best “Dad Dog” voice.
